Two Fall Calendars in Miramar Beach

Drive from Grand Boulevard to the gates of Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort and you will pass through two different fall calendars in under five minutes. The Village of Baytowne Wharf offers a lineup of seasonal events, while Grand Boulevard includes a professional theater season that runs into spring. Both are part of the Miramar Beach calendar.

Baytowne Wharf's Fall Calendar

Walk into The Village of Baytowne Wharf on any given week this fall and you will find programming stacked almost every night. The Wednesday Night Concert Series runs weekly through late October, free shows at 7 p.m. on the Events Plaza stage, local and regional acts trading off week to week. Before that, Labor Day weekend brought Perfect Hues, the Baytowne Wharf Art Fest, three straight evenings of local and regional artists lining the Village streets from 5 to 9 p.m., capped by a fireworks show over the lagoon.

Then October gets loud. The 18th Annual Baytowne Wharf Beer Fest lands October 16 and 17, and this year it opens with something new: the Baytowne Backyard Bash, a Friday-night tailgate with football on the big screen, bonfires, and live music before Saturday's Grand Craft Beer Tasting brings in more than 200 domestic and international craft beers, plus a Seltzer Lane and an Import Lane for people who want something other than a pint. Bubbly Baytowne follows on October 16, a sip-and-shop evening where 21-and-up guests get a complimentary glass and a map of participating merchants. Halloween brings Trick or Treat Street, free candy through the Village storefronts, a costume contest at Coconut Kidz, and fireworks at 8 p.m. Then comes Tribute Weekend, November 6 and 7, when Pandora's Box channels Aerosmith on Friday and The 77 Experience revives 1977 on Saturday, both shows free on the Events Plaza lawn.

These events are free or lightly ticketed, with lineups that rotate.

Grand Boulevard's Theater Season

A short distance away, at 560 Grand Boulevard, Emerald Coast Theatre Company opens its 14th season with Come From Away, the musical built around the true story of 7,000 stranded air passengers taken in by a small Canadian town after 9/11. The show runs through September 27, with evening performances Thursday through Saturday and matinees on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. That is one production. The season itself runs from September 10, 2026, through May 23, 2027, a full nine-month calendar of professional theater.

This is not a pop-up. Emerald Coast Theatre Company is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2012, and its Season 14 lineup is underwritten by Grand Boulevard Town Center itself, along with the St. Joe Community Foundation, Visit South Walton, the Howard Group, and longtime supporters Jerry and Alice Zich.

Grand Boulevard also offers dining and movies. Vin'tij Food & Wine has operated there for more than 28 years and picked up Best Chef honors in both 2025 and 2026 from VIP Destin Magazine, along with a Best Restaurant in Walton County title from the Perfect In South Walton Awards. Emeril's Coastal, Cantina Laredo, and Fleming's Prime Steakhouse round out a dining lineup that has stayed largely intact for years, and Boulevard 10 Cinema still runs first-run films on ten screens.
